The Ricks are Dave Mauger, Rowland Adamoli and a few random entertainers who periodically join the fracas. Dave and Rowland grew up in the Philadelphia area in the late 20th century. Inspired by countless singer/songwriters, rock 'n' rollers and the opportunity to impress the ladies, Dave picked up the guitar and Rowland picked up the congas.
The Ricks got together at a late night jam session at a party on Brown Street in the Fairmount section of Philly in August, 2001. The party revelers had such a good time that the band started taking over taverns in the Fairmount, Manayunk, and Center City sections of Philadelphia. Each performance brought new fans and increased the levels of excitement and debauchery.

Now, armed with a new CD of original songs and an arsenal of favorites from entertainers such as Bruce Springsteen, Jimmy Buffett and Pearl Jam, The Ricks are looking to take their partying brand of rock 'n' roll to a wider audience.
